Restoration Progress

This Cadillac will be getting a new paint job and we will be pulling the engine to put a modern fuel injection Chevrolet engine. Along with replacing some other pieces of the car.

We got the rear axle removed.

Everything has been removed and out of the way for the conversion.

The new transmission has arrived.

The new Moser engineering 12 bolt rear end came in.

We have removed the Chevrolet Performance L96 6.0L 360 HP engine from the crate to start the mock up process.

Working on mocking up the transmission and engine to ensure the proper fit.

We have gotten the engine mounts fabricated and are ready to weld them in.

Mocking up the leaf springs and rear end, just need to weld in the brackets for the new parts.

Completed engine bay metal fabrication.

The frame has been painted now that the fabrication has been completed.

Here we have assembled the spindle, rotor, brake caliper and steering arm to be installed.

We have installed the proportioning valve, master cylinder and brake booster for the power brake conversion.

The Chevrolet Performance L96 6.0L 360 HP engine has been installed.

We are about to assemble the suspension, upper and lower A arms.

We have installed the core support.

The custom made gas tank is getting mocked up for installation.

We have begun running new lines throughout the car.

We’ve got lights working on this Cadillac.

We made custom air vents by fabricating in the old ashtrays.

Custom built cool air intake has been installed.

The engine is almost complete.

We have removed the instrument cluster to access the wires.

We have power going to the dash so we have lights working now.

The prndl switch has been installed.

We have begun preparations to install the rear windshield.

We have repaired a section of trim to be able to attach it back to the exterior of the vehicle.
