Restoration Progress
We will be working on the engine, brakes and replacing the body with a new one.
We removed the tires to take a look at the brakes.
The fenders have been removed.
The body has been removed.
Power washed the frame to remove the excess debris
Replacing the old brakes with some new brakes.
We have gotten the steering column installed.
We have epoxy sealed the frame.
The chassis has been painted black.
The body has been media blasted and sprayed with primer.
The chairs are ready for paint.
The new body has been uncreated from the box.
We have begun mocking up the new body and installing body mounts.
We have installed the core support, hood and fenders for mock up.
We cut the holes for the clutch pedal and steering column.
We have gotten the seats mocked up.
We have begun teardown for the new paint job.
We have begun prepping the body to be sprayed with primer.
We have sprayed primer on the body.
The body has been moved into the paint booth.
The interior of the hood has been painted Olive Gold.
The body is now Olive Gold after being painted.
The exterior of the hood and fenders have been painted Olive Gold.
Tailgate, windshield frame and grille have been painted Olive Gold.
The body has been reinstalled back onto the chassis.
We have gotten the steering column and shift levers installed.
Installed the weatherstripping on the grille for the hood.
We have a new wiring harness being ran throughout the jeep
We have installed the heater box.
The oil bath air cleaner and ducting has been installed.
We have begun fabricating the shifter boot trim ring.
The master cylinder has been installed.
We have gotten the seat covers and cushions installed on the seat frames.
