Single-Stage Paint
A proven, durable finish applied in one coat — color and protection in a single layer. Single-stage paint is the period-correct choice for many pre-1980s classics and delivers a clean, authentic look. It's also a smart, cost-effective option for drivers, daily-use trucks, and fleet vehicles that need to look sharp without show-level investment.
Base/Clear (Two-Stage)
The modern standard for automotive paint. A base coat carries the color; a separate clear coat adds depth, UV protection, and durability. Base/clear is the right choice for most restorations and custom builds — it produces a rich, wet-looking finish that holds up to North Texas sun and the miles you put on it. This is what most classic car paint jobs look like when they're done right.
Full Show Finish
For vehicles destined for car shows, magazine features, or simply an owner who refuses to compromise. A show finish involves multi-stage application, extensive color-sanding between coats, precision wet-sanding, and final buffing to a flawless, liquid-glass surface. This is where we push materials and technique to their limits — the kind of automotive paint restoration that stops people in their tracks.
Each tier starts with thorough surface preparation. No finish will last without it, regardless of how many coats go on top. We block-sand, seal, and prime every panel before color touches the surface.
Custom Auto Painting and Color Matching
Color accuracy matters — especially on a classic. If you're restoring a factory-correct vehicle, we match original paint codes and account for the way age and formulation shifts affect how a color reads next to original trim and interior components. Getting it right takes experience, and we've been doing automotive painting and color matching in the Texoma area for over two decades.
