The Jeep Wagoneer is a sport utility vehicle (SUV) nameplate of Jeep vehicles, with several models marketed for the 1963 through 1993 model years and again since the 2022 model year. Various versions of the Wagoneer were manufactured in the US and other nations by Kaiser Motors (1962-1971), by American Motors (1971-1987), and Stellantis from 2021. A revival of the Jeep Wagoneer was introduced as a concept version of September 30, 2020, and as the production model on March 11, 2021. Sales begin in the second half of 2021 with 2022 model year versions.

Restoration Progress

This Wagoneer came in for some extensive rust repair in the driver and passenger floor pans, rear wheel wells, rear tailgate and the front valance.

We have begun welding in the new floor pans.

The inner wheel wells in the engine compartment have been patched and welded in.

We have removed the tailgate and rear windshield.

The bottom of this door is completely rusted so we cut out the rust and will be welding in new patch panels.

We have begun making the new patch panel for the door.

We have begun welding in the new floor pan and patches along the doors.

The grille and headlights have been removed.

The patch to the driver’s door has been welded in.

Repaired two rust spots on the front valance.

These areas circled in white chalk show the rust that we will be fixing.

This rust spot near the front passenger tire has been cut out to replace with new metal.

The front passenger fender has had the dent removed.

The passenger door rust along the bottom has been welded and repaired.
