About the Role
Texoma Classics is seeking an experienced Automotive Upholsterer to join our team in Sherman, Texas. We work on classic cars, RVs, and trailers and are looking for a craftsperson who can bring custom interiors to life.
Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate custom upholstery for classic vehicles and luxury interiors
- Provide expertise on fabric selection and restoration techniques
- Restore seat frames, replace foam, and bring unique designs to life
- Estimate labor and material costs for projects
- Collaborate with designers and restoration specialists
- Maintain OSHA safety compliance throughout all projects
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven automotive or custom upholstery experience; prior classic car restoration experience preferred
- Portfolio showcasing previous upholstery projects is required
- Mechanical skills in frame restoration and foam replacement valued
- Ability to estimate project costs and manage materials
- Authorization to work in the United States
- High school diploma minimum; 2+ years of upholstery experience
